AVO Suspension Update

Swallows Racing suspension partner AVO UK has been taken over by Turbo Technics, the highly respected leading name in turbo technology and engineering. The new company will now be known as AVO-Technics, following an acquisition by the Northamptonshire engineering business. With a rich history in motorsport, Turbo Technics will bring their reputation for high quality engineered components. Turbo Technics was established in 1981 by Geoff Kershaw a mechanical engineer with a passion for motorsport. He has since built his highly equipped precision engineering business manufacturing the finest quality turbo chargers, having previously worked for Rolls Royce and Garrett. Geoff Kershaw, CEO of Turbo Technics, expressed enthusiasm about the venture, stating, “This move aligns with our commitment to innovation and excellence. We are excited to bring our precision engineering skills to the world of suspension with AVO-TECHNICS.” Swallows Racing partnered with AVO UK a few years ago to develop a range of aftermarket dampers and coilover kits for the Jaguar line up. As well as supplying new products for Jaguar cars exclusively through Swallows Racing, the newly formed AVO Technics will offer servicing of existing Jaguar AVO units previously sold by Swallows. AVO-Technics will also continue to support Swallows racing programme going into the 2024 season. AVO-Technics are committed to retaining key members of the AVO business to work alongside the Turbo Technics team, something that Swallows feel is important to the success of the new venture.
