New Year, New Rules

Swallows would like to wish all our clients a happy New Year. Let us hope that the current Covid situation will improve by the spring and we will be able to get out and enjoy our cars again. In the meantime, we must once again live within the most recent lockdown rules that have now come into force. We wanted to assure our clients, that as with the previous lockdowns last spring and in the autumn, Swallows will remain open and able to fully function whilst adhering to the Covid Safe guidelines. We are endeavouring to reduce contact as much as possible and have put in place the following Covid measures.

• Increased sanitising of customer areas
• Client cars sanitised
• Loan fleet sanitised between uses
• Air-conditioning systems will also be sanitised whilst your car is with us for service and we would kindly ask that you set your air-con recirculation to the off position.
• Key sanitising and bagging station outside the service reception. We kindly request customers to sanitise their keys and bag them before depositing them on the service reception desk.
• Customers should wear a face covering before entering the service reception and use the hand sanitiser outside the door
• We now have a one-way route so please exit reception by the door opposite the main reception entrance and a one in and a one out system.
• Paperless reports and invoicing so we would be grateful if you would kindly supply us with an email address if your car is booked in with us
• Electronic payments/bank transfers
• Screened office/service reception

Swallows will continue to review our polices and practices as the Covid situation evolves. We are seeing unprecedented levels of servicing bookings, especially now that the government policy on the six-month delay on MOT’s is beginning to unfold. We would therefore recommend planning ahead and booking early to ensure we can satisfy your required service and MOT date
