When we were approached by the Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club towards the end of 2021 with an idea for a new track project as you could imagine, we were all ears. We had previously been involved with supporting JEC track days at Castle Combe in the past. But what they were proposing was a more formal arrangement to support a programme of events throughout the 2022.
Having heard the plan, we liked the idea, and we subsequently gave passenger ‘Hot Laps’, technical support, and manned trade displays at Mallory Park, Harewood Hillclimb and Castle Combe in 2022. Driving a broad range of our race and track day cars we thrilled members and guests out on track giving them a small insight into the racing world. We also handed out lots of free advice and help at each of the events like getting the tyre pressures right for track driving.
Now the club have launched their JEC TrackSport calendar for 2023 and we are definitely in again, this time with four events. Each event is very and spread across the country from Castle Combe in Wiltshire to Harewood Hillclimb in Yorkshire, Blyton Park in Lincolnshire, and finally Thruxton in Hampshire. So why not come and join us, details can be found here https://jec.org.uk/events/tracksport
