JEC Saloon & GT Castle Combe 7th May 2018

Castle Combe was host to round 3 of the championship, 21 big Cats joined us at what was a fine but very hot day unlike rounds 1 & 2 at Snetterton in April. In a change of procedure, this was scheduled as a 30 minute race rather than the usual 20 minutes, necessitating some drivers having to install larger fuel tanks. SR Engined 4×4 For 2018!​

Over the next few months we will be building a fresh Jaguar supercharged V8 for the coming 2018 season and with all the usual SR refinements for Rob Bool Racing, this space frame Land Rover will be built to compete in the BCCC where is won the 2017 season and is sure to hold onto his crown this year. Swallows Racing Tuned Safari Offroad Racer Success

This amazingly well built space framed and rear engine Land Rover running a Jaguar 4.2 Supercharged V8 Tuned by us here at Swallows Racing for correction mapping on a stand alone Emerald ecu. Huge congratularions to Tim Simon and Lewis Simon winning a few class races at the end of the season in the newly built Jaguar V8 supercharged space framed landrover in the SASLRC championship, looking forward to seeing what it can do with a full season ahead of you. Brands Hatch Rounds 15- 16 Race Report: Ramms Hatch? As we sank deeper into the season the cars development had increased and so had driver ability across all teams on the grid, this said nothing would prepare us for the freezing cold temps and heavy rain we would see across the weekend making it difficult for everyone to find their groove in this November race.
